The Rams Are Coming Back To London.....

Image
UK Rams fans—mark your calendars - T he Rams are heading back across the pond! On October 19th 2025, the Los Angeles Rams are heading to Wembley Stadium to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars as part of the NFL International Series. To be honest - I cannot wait! Being UK based- the opportunity to see your team in the flesh is not one that comes around everyday. I've never had the chance to see the Rams at SOFI - I will one day - But for now, they are heading to me!! Luckily for me - this isn’t our first game on English soil. I have been lucky enough to see the Rams everytime they have come over to the UK. I wasn't expecting to get the chance soon given that they will play in Australia next season. So this is a very nice surprise! My previous trips to London to watch the NFL International Series have been great. Although definitely a mixed bag in terms of Rams results: 2012 – Rams vs. Patriots (Wembley Stadium) Our London debut! Things didn’t quite go our way—Brady and the Pats go...

2025 NFL Draft Recap: Who Won, Who Lost, and What It Means for the Season

How the 2025 NFL Draft Could Reshape the League for Years to Come So the 2025 NFL Draft is in the books. All the selections have been made and it will have major ramifications on the league. Who will be the next stars? Who will be a draft bust? Only time will tell. But until then - let's pick some arbitrary winners and losers - as if I know what the future holds! Winners  Tyler Warren Warren received a call when the Jets were on the clock at No.7 overall. This call is the realisation of a lifelong dream for every player entering the draft. It is a significant moment where everything you have worked for comes to fruition. You're officially in the NFL. The thing you always dreamt of. Then you realise it's a prank call. Everything you felt is a lie and someone is messing with you. Getting "The Call" and told you had realised a lifelong dream only to then realise it was a prank call doesn't sound like much of a win.  But not actually having to play for the Jets......

No Pick, No Problem: Rams Trade Back and Look Ahead

Image
So, Round One Came and Went… A 1am start here in the UK, which was… fun. The first pick went pretty much how everyone expected. Then came the shock trade between the Browns at No. 2 and the Jags at No. 5, which shook things up a bit. But even with the drama, Travis Hunter still went at No. 2, just as most of us predicted. Then Adbul Carter at 3. No shocks really. Now...... the Rams. It was a long wait until pick 26. A loooong wait — until about 4am. Joy! And then… they traded out! Honestly, I can’t even be mad. I half expected them to pull this move. But the haul they got back? Better than I anticipated. Here’s the breakdown: Rams receive: Pick 46 Pick 242 2026 1st Rounder Falcons receive: Pick 26 Pick 101 This was too good a trade for the Rams to turn down, and it tells us two things: 1. They clearly didn’t see much value at 26, and believe the real strength in this draft lies in the 2nd and 3rd rounds. 2. They’re setting themselves up to move up for a top QB in 2026. If t...

Pick 26 Then and Now: The Rams, Cleveland Gary, and the 2025 NFL Draft

Image
Heading into the 2025 NFL Draft, the Los Angeles Rams hold the 26th pick in the first round. What will they do with it? Will they trade out of the 1st round? Do something crazy and move up for someone they love? It's all guesswork - what we do know is what they did the last time they made a selection with the 26th pick in the draft. Back in 1989, the Los Angeles Rams were looking to bring some power and punch to their backfield. So, with the 26th overall pick , they called the name Cleveland Everette Gary —a hard-running, no-nonsense running back out of the University of Miami. He was named First Team All American in college and set a Miami record for catches out of the backfield that still stands. It was clear to see why the Rams selected him. And for a few seasons at least, Gary ran well and led the NFL in some key categories. From the U to the Rams: A Backfield Beast Gary wasn’t just big—he was explosive. Standing 6'0" and tipping the scales at 220 pounds, he brought ...

LA Rams Top Needs of the 2025 Draft

Image
The Rams made some serious progress in the 2024 season. Not many people expected them to be a playoff team, nevermind coming as close as they did. Pushing the eventual Champions close, at home in the snow. They have a serious platform to build upon - and don't have that many glaring holes in the roster going into the 2025 draft. So what to do with those picks? F*** them - right? Well.... maybe not this time! There are areas where the Rams could use reinforcements. And given their strong track record of uncovering late round gems, don’t be surprised if Les Snead and Sean McVay cook up another draft that makes you go, “Wait… who?” and then, a few months later, “Oh wow, that guy’s a starter. Here are five positions where the Rams could look to get better in the 2025 draft: 1) Tight End The Rams allegedly tried to trade up to the 13th pick last year to get Brock Bowers and it feels like Sean McVay has wanted to upgrade at Tight End for a while.  Granted - Tight Ends like Bowers don...

Welcome to My LA Rams Blog: A 25-Year Journey

Image
Hello, fellow Rams fans and football enthusiasts! Welcome to my corner of the internet, where I'll be sharing my thoughts, insights, and excitement about the Los Angeles Rams. My name is Stephen, and I’m a UK-based fan who's been proudly supporting the Rams for over 25 years. It all started back in the St. Louis days of the "Greatest Show on Turf," when players like Kurt Warner, Marshall Faulk, Torry Holt, and Isaac Bruce were lighting up the field. A chance encounter while I was flicking through the TV schedule as a 12-year-old boy—and I was instantly hooked. And there was this really good team, who played in blue and gold, and were just fun to watch. It didn’t take long before I was seeking out ways to watch the Rams play every week. It wasn’t easy as a young lad growing up in the UK—back then, it was nearly impossible to watch live. But luckily, it’s gotten a lot easier over the years, and my affection for this team has only grown stronger. Despite being halfw...
